The Vila dos Guardões is made up of bioconstructions created from organic and recyclable materials, designed to house the landfill residents, offering them a better quality of life and decent housing.
The village also has the Lixo Verde Cultural Center, place designed to host exchange students and provide an immersive cultural experience through direct contact with former landfill residents, in addition to offering courses and workshops in the environmental area and waste care.

Aldeia do Bem
(Good Village)
Aldeia do Bem will host cultural and social events, courses and workshops, aimed at training, education and leisure for the inhabitants.
In the landfills we find materials that, with creativity, can become new products, from good wood to make furniture to PET bottles, which are transformed into bags, brooms and other useful objects.
