Lixo Verde® arrived to transform!
As lovers and observers of nature, phytoremediation was carefully studied by Lixo Verde®, in order to seek organic and sustainable solutions for the recovery of the environment. Phytoremediation pools were developed for the crucial need to clean groundwater in green areas, contaminated by inadequate waste disposal.
Through aquatic plants and an ecosystem in perfect balance, where each living being fulfills its role, phytoremediation pools clean the water table contaminated by leachate, a highly contaminating liquid produced by the decomposition of trash. Plants such as boa constrictor, water lily and cattail, have the incredible ability to absorb contaminants from water, such as heavy metals and excess nutrients, purifying and transforming it -a in a self-sustainable ecosystem.Gradually and in nature's wise time, the environment is recovered and regenerated.
The phytoremediation pools are part of the XÔ LIXÃO project, created and developed by Lixo Verde®, to close down Brazil's landfills and return life to nature.
